About us
Kabul Oregon Association (KOA) is the first culturally and socially broad-based not-for-profit organization established to enable Afghan refugees and Afghan-American families residing across the State of Oregon overcome their cultural, educational, medical and economical challenges. The purpose of KOA is to help the Afghan community to learn about and utilize the social services, advocate for those in need, and honor Afghan differences and value traditions and values.
Mission
To help Afghan immigrants and community members have access to food, shelter, healthcare, social justice, education, and employment through connecting resources, providing advocacy, and rendering services.
Vision
To put in practice and maintain cultural, religious, academic, and traditional values as the core principles of a community that we believe will contribute to having a prosperous and successful society in the future.
